Some notes from feedback. Clip 1/2 work the best. Clip 3 is too slow paced. I love the scene in clip 2. This is from my favorite video game and this scene is special because in a game that is all about lost there is this small sliver of happiness shared between these two characters. I want to do my project on clip 2, but I have to make the audience know what they are talking about (the magazine) and why its special.

In the scene I choose, it is a sliver a peace in a world that causes nothing but destruction and pain. In the scene, a father (Joel) and daughter figure (Ellie) start their bond. Ellie is this symbol of relief and hope for Joel. Ellie adds humor and light back into Joel's life after he had spent the past 20 years in a post apocalyptic world and suffered the lost of his real daughter. In this mood board I wanted to symbolize the roughness of Joel and the innocents of Ellie.

J — Hey, what happen to sleepin’?

E — okay, I know it doesn’t look like it, but this here is not a bad read. Only one problem. Right there. ‘To be continued!’ Uh, I hate cliffhangers.

J — Where did you get that?

E — Uhh, back at Bills. I mean all this stuff was just lying there.

J — ‘sigh’ What’d else you get?

E — Well… Here. This make you all nostalgic?

J — Y’know, that is actually before my time. That is a winner though. (music starts playing) Oh, man.

E — Well. Better then nothing.
